וַיִּבֶן־שָׁם מִזְבֵּחַ

He built an altar there.

Bereishit 13:18 — excerpt

The Rebbe identifies three dimensions in Avraham’s altars: receiving blessing, repairing, and serving G-d for His sake.

Today, choose one mitzvah without turning it into a bargain. A few minutes of Torah, a coin for tzedakah, quiet help: offer that act to G-d.

Let the relationship matter more than the benefit you expect.
