Your light does not need a stage

Hashem compares Avraham’s descendants to the stars. HaYom Yom explains that their light keeps someone walking in the night from losing the way — and that every Jew has enough moral and spiritual strength to influence the people nearby.

You do not need a platform to illuminate the world. A word of Torah, a mitzvah done with warmth, or steady kindness can help one person take the next step.

Shine where you are. Help someone find the way.
